I am now on activity 50 of the SLJ.
For this activity we had to try find different types of lines around the house.
I couldn't find any and I thought I would just do it on google drawing.
Before I show you I want to explain the difference between a line, segment, and a ray.
Line segments are lines with two end points/ sides. It contains the endpoints of the lines and the points between them. You can measure the lengths of segments, but you can't measure the lengths of lines. A ray is part of a line but it only has one end point and goes in only one direction.

It is great to see that you used your problem solving skills when you were unable to find the lines around your house so drew them instead and you gave a very good explanation as to what each line means.
These lines are used often in maps so if you have a look at the step it up activity you may be able to find these lines.
What did you enjoy about this activity and what did you find challenging?
