Ka pai Khadija. Great problems. I wonder if you should remove the key so that it's a challenge for people to work out? I like the idea of sneaking two or three pieces of fruit instead of it always being 1 so that people have to read the question properly.
Kia Ora Phil, That's a good idea. I will do that straight after I reply to you. Me to I also like the idea. When I was looking a the example I had to look twice and then answer in my head. Thanks for the idea. Thank you
This is great work. I love how consistently you are showing up and doing SLJ tasks! Do you enjoy math? I always find it fun when you can represent numbers with different objects like fruit.
I've got a challenge for you, seeing as you accomplished this one so well! How about you try and make the fruit represent numbers with decimal places. For example, one apple could represent 1.5. Let me know if you would find this an easy, medium, or difficult challenge.
Kia Ora Ruby, Sorry for the late reply. No I do not really like math. I'm sorry that I haven't done that challenge that you have given me maybe tomorrow I can do it. Thank you
Chris here again, from the Summer Learning Journey! Great to see you’ve done another task.
Tēnā koe for completing the Silly Algebra Kick Start activity! Even better hearing that you enjoyed it! All your maths is correct, pai mahi! Can you tell me what makes this algebra? Like, what about using fruit to count connects to what algebra is as an idea?
I’m looking forward to seeing what else you post in the final week, next week! Have a great weekend!
Kia Ora Chris, Sorry for the late reply. Its math but the reason why its part of algebra is because of the fruit. i don't quite understand the next question. Thank you
