My name is Quein and I am a blog commenter for the Manaiakalani Summer Learning Journey. Thank you for sharing your mahi with me and your fellow bloggers. Great job on creating the drum. I am very impressed with your powerpoint sharing of your work and it was Super to see that you were able to be creative and use your initiative to use glitter and circles to decorate the tin. Did you know cicadas are super loud, and are found everywhere in the world. Their rhythm is so mysterious but sometimes it does sound relaxing. Was it louder than a cicadas? What advice would you give your fellow bloggers who would like to give it a go? Keep up the Super work I look forward to your next blog post!!!
Hi Quein, Yes I really enjoyed this activity. A tip I would give is look out for sharp edges so that you don't cut your finger like I did. I don't think its louder than a cicada, but it was still pretty loud. Thank you
Thank you for your reply and the useful tips that you have provided, sorry that you got hurt, so yes safety is key with any activity. Cool that it was loud and you really enjoyed the activity.
