Wow, what a gripping and emotive poem! Ka pai! I particularly love the lines, ‘Throat-ripper’ and ‘jungle-raider’. You have balanced the tiger’s nature well in this poem- with gracefulness and beauty but also the tiger’s power and deadliness!
I also enjoy the format you have presented in your poem. It is obvious that a lot of thought has gone into it.
Have you written poems before? Did you enjoy the format of kennings poems?
Keep up the awesome mahi! I’m looking forward to seeing your next post!
It is me Quein again, a blog commenter for the Manaiakalani Summer Learning Journey. I enjoyed the pictures and colors that you have chosen to put into your slideshow, they also work well to complement your poem. I enjoyed the words you have chosen in the poem as they allude to the characteristics of a tiger. Did you enjoy creating this kenning poem?
Have a Super Summer!!!
Keep up the Amazing work and I am looking forward to your next post
Ka pai Khadija. Awesome Kenning poem. I really like the jungle raider line and your choice of background colour. Did you enter it into the slam on this link?

Thank you for your reply, that is Great!!! that you enjoy kenning poems, they are very fun and positive to make.
My favourite poems are Haiku poems. They are very short and powerful and originated in Japan.
Do you have a favorite poem or poet?
