Summer Learning Journey Activity 25

 Hey bloggers,

I am now on activity 25.

For this activity in a ziplock bag you have to create the watercycle using materiels you have at home.

The picture is not very clear because I was using my CB for this picture.

I added some glitter and water and it was full to the top.

I left it hanging on the window for basically 7-8 hours.

Here is the picture of the last hour......

Make sure to give me some feedback.
Thank you

  1. Kia ora Khadija. I think this is such a cool experiment. How did yours go? I'm wondering what happened to the glitter? Did it evaporate with the water or stay at the bottom?

Yes this was a very cool experiment.
My water cycle went well and the glitter just stayed at the bottom after the water got evaporated.

  2. Kia ora Khadija,

It’s Charlotte again, a blog commenter for Manaiakalani. WOW nice work on the water cycle activity!

Isn’t the water cycle amazing? I am astounded that so much water evaporated from your ziplock bag in only 7-8 hours! Had you learnt much about the water cycle before this task?

What did you find happened with the glitter as the water was evaporating? Did it stay in the bottom of the ziplock bag?

    1. Hi Charlotte,
      The Water Cycle is amazing.
I did learn a lot about the water cycle before this task at school.
The glitter stayed at the bottom after all the water evaporated.
      Thank you

Wow! The water cycle you did looks WAY better than the one I did! Where I lived it was a bit rainy and cold. Is where you live sunny?
I’m looking forward to seeing more blogs!
