                                             Hey bloggers

Today all of the senior classes went to Tokyo 2020 Olympic games fun zone and got to meet a real Olympian who's name was Debby Tanner. Debby tanner competed in the triathlon in 2008 in Beijing (in china) such a cool thing right.

The things we got to do in the Olympic zone was planing games like basketball karate  and other cool things. We also got activity sheets that were really easy and really fun to do. Something I learnt was that the athletes can be nervous be for a race or any other thing they do. In the last part of the activity sheets it said what is amazing in Japanese? it is Sugol. Three in Japanese is kanji , Hiragana and katakana.

Our Bike Ride

                                                Kia Ora Bloggers!

Today I  learnt how to ride a bike with out training wheels it was really tricky at first like riding on the bike with two hands  but once I got a hand of it I learnt it better what I enjoyed was when I was riding the bike again and again. What helped me the most with me on the bike was when the coach told me to speed first  that means to put your feet on the ground Balinese on two feet and then put your feet up and then find the paddle by the way the coaches name that helped me was Loni.

Things about bikes

We also learnt about helmets and we should were it all the time. When we are riding a bike or a scooter. The helmets should not be crack on the top or the bottom and the soft part of it should not come off. The chain of the bike should not become Rusty. Also we are having a bike fishing tomorrow and it's going to be amazing.

The Wonder Project

                                                                   Hey bloggers
The last nine weeks all the senior classes got to take part in The Wonder Project it was really fun. A  scientist named Colm came to hay park school to show us how to launch a rocket and taught us the parts of the rockets. We also got to decorate are own rocket. The rockets are not real rockets we just used bottles and then we add fins to make it look like a real one. What we learnt  was:

  • how far it could go
  • how to measure the mass
  • how to measure the weight
  •  how much water is needed in it
My favourite moments were when we were decorating the rockets and when we were launching it.
What I found challenging was when our rockets fins keeped on falling off and we had to make new one.
